Attitude toward premarital sexual behavior and related factors among college students in Guangzhou

Abstract:
Objective To unde rstand the attitude of college students in Guangzhou toward premarital sexual behavior and to provide evidence for sexual health education.Methods With straified cluster sampling,840 college students were selected and investigaed by anonymous questionnaire infour universities in Guangzhou.Results The approvab lerate of premarital sexual behavior in male students was higher than that of in female students(P<0.01).The approvable rate of premarital sexual behavior in higher grade students was higher than in low grade students(P<0.05),with a gradually increas ing trend from low grade to higher grade.There was a significant difference in the attitude toward the rationality of premarital sexual behavior with no pregnancy and the promise for love by premarital sexual behavior between the students from urban and rural a reas(P<0.05).49.7% of the students thought the sex was OK if the lovers both had love emotion.51.6% of the students thought that the premarital sexual behavior was the physiological and psychological needs.55.3% of the students thought that the premarital sexual behavior was to satisfy the sexual desire.A higher ratio of sexual experience was reported among the students with positive a ttitude toward premarital sexual behavior.Conclusion Now adays,the college students' attitude toward premarital sexual behavior is diversified.The premarital sexual behaviors exist objectively among the students.The sexual health education should be different according to different students.
Influencing factors of mental health among recruits during training in cold area

Abstract:
Objective To investigate the influencing factors of mental health among recruits during training in cold area.Methods The symptom checkhist 90(SCL-90)was used to evaluate the mental health among 1 000 recruits during the first training week.Results Compared with country side and city recruits,recru its from towns had higher score in obsession,interpersonal relation ship,depression,hostile,photicaneiety,paranoia,psy choticism,the total score of SCL-90,and the score of som atization.Compared with recruits with junior high school education,recruits with high or middle school education had high score in somatization,interpersonal relation ship,depression,hostile,anxiety,paranoia,psy choticism,and the total score of SCL-90.Recruits having alcohol and smoking hobbies had higher SCL-90 score than recruits without those hobbies.Regression analysis showed that the total score of SCL-90 and the score of somatization,in terpersonal relationship,depression,hostile,anxiety,paranoia,psychoticism of the recruits were inverse correlated with living environmen,twhile direct correlated with a lcoholand smoking hobbies.Conclusion Drinking and smoking are the major mental health influencing factors in recruits during training in cold a rea.

Abstract:
Objective To understand the knowLedge,attitude,and practice(KAP)of sex in college students and to discuss the policies for sexeducation and reproduction health.Methods Orevall 1232 students in Shanghai Custom College and Shanghai Second Poly technic University were randomly selected and surveyed.Results Among the students surveyed,22.56% knew a lot about reproduction health;46.92% had some knowledge,and 30.52% had a little.As for sex behavior before marriage,36.77% of the students approved of it;11.61% of them had sexual experience and 60.8% thought people should be responsible for the sexactivity.76.92% of students with sex bahaviors adop ted contraception measures and 19.58% of them used condoms.52.75% of the students believed that hom osexuality was different sexual orientation.2.92% of them had hom osexual behavior.26.95% of the male students approved of cohabitation before marriage.For female students,24.55% approved of it.However,a clear distinction existed between freshmen and sophomores when talking about the issue.17.71% of the freshmen approved of cohabitation before marriage while 24.91% of the sophomores approved of it.Conclusion The college students lack reprodution health knowlegde.There are differences in sexattitude and behavior between college students of different grade and gender.

Abstract:
Objective To study the sleep quality and its influencing actors for improving sleep quality in medical students.Methods Totally 878 medical students were selected with multistage randomcluster sampling.Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)was used to evaluate the sleep quailty and the results were analyzed with the SPSS 11.5 software.Results The mean PSQI score of medical students was 5.36±2.73.18.00% of the students were poor sleepers.No statistical significance was found between different gender,specialties,on line time,monthly income per capita of the family,body mass index(BMI),smoking status,drinking status(P>0.05).Statistical significance was found between different grades,study time,living environment,physical exercise(P<0.05).Rseults of multiple stepwise regression indicated that grade,physical exercise,drinking,monthly income per capita of the family were important influencing factors of PSQI.Conclusion Sleep quality was influenced by many factors.Measures such as arranging course reasonably,changing bad habit could be taken to improve sleep quality in medical students.

Abstract:
Objective To explore the distribution and influencial factors of posttraumatic stress disorder(PTSD)in medical pharmacy university students.Methods Undergraduates in Guangzhou city were selected with cluster sampling and interviewed with PTSDSymptom Chesk list(PCL-C)and self-designed questionnaire.T test,Logistic regession were used for data analysis.Results In 1081 medical undergraduates,the rate of PTSD positive symptom was 16.6%.The students with traumatic event exposure had higher PCL-C store than the students without the exposure(P<0.05).The average score of PCL-C w as not sigm ificantly different between sex(P>0.05).But there was a significant difference between grades and between specialties(P<0.05),respectively.Different specialty,suffering from sexual harassment or infringement,suffering from a ttacking,viciously slander,beating,family pressure,employment pressure,in terpersonal relationship pressure,environment maladaptation were the influential factors of PTSD.Conclusion PTSD is prevalent among undergraduate in Guangzhou city and effective measure should be taken.

Abstract:
Objective To review the situation of social support in residents one month after the earthquake in order to provide in formation for rescuework.Methods "Social Support Questionnaire" desined by the authors was applied to 236 residents in three cities one month after Wenchuan earthquake.SPSS 15.0 was used to analyze the data.Results A total of 236 eligible questionnarie swere collected.There were significant differences in scores of support bewteen the types of social support(F=26.38,P<0.01).The first support was sbustance support(4.26±0.65);the second was emotional support(4.06±0.81),and the third was information support(3.82±0.89).There were significant differences in sources of the three types of social support(χ2=312.53,41.61,302.18,P<0.01).The women(4.18±0.74)g ained more emotional support than men(3.92±0.80).The person in ealier adult(3.88±0.88)ga ined the leastem otional support.Conclusion There sidents in earthquake areas gained more material support and emotionl support than information support.The man and the person in the earlie radult gained less emotional support.Much more information and the emotional support should be provided.

Abstract:
Objective To explore the relationship between interne taddiction disorder and copingstyle,emotional disorder in college students.Methods From five universities in Zhengzhou city,957 college students of grade one and grade three were sellected withs tratified cluster sampling.They were assessed with coping styles questionnaire,In ternet Addiction Scale-Chinese revised,Self-Rating Depression Scale(SDS),and State-Trait Anxiety Inventory(STAI).Results There were 878 valid questionnaires and the effective recovery ratio was 91.75%.The detection rate of internet addiction in the students was 8.31%,and the rate in males(11.59%)was higher than that of in females(4.30%)with significant difference.No significant difference existed in internet addiction rate between grade one(7.33%)and grade three(9.42%).There were significant differences in the scores of all dimensions of coping style between addiction group and normal group(P<0.01).Significant difference also existed in dep ression,anxiety state and anxiety trait betw een the two groups(P<0.01).There were positive correlations between internet use and coping styles of self-accusation,fan tasy,wince,rationa lizational and depression,anxiety state,anxiety trait.How ever the coping styles of solving problem,asking for help were negatively correlated with internet use.Conclusion The internet addiction individuals inclined to negative coping style,and the students with internet addition disorder had obvious anxiety and deperssion disorder.

Abstract:
Objective To study the loneliness and related factors in normal undergraduates.Methods A total of 491 normal under graduates were selected randomly.Data were collected using the Emotional versus Social Lone liness Scale,Social Support Rate Scale,Trait Coping Style Questionnaire,and Adolescent Self-Rating Life Events Check List.Results The mean lone liness score of urban students was significantly different from that of rural students.Negative life events and trait coping style were significantly positive-correlated with loneliness(P<0.01).While significant negative-correlations was observed between social support and lone liness(P<0.01).The results of regression analysis showed that social support and coping style influenced lone liness directly.Negative life events had direct influence on lone liness and indirect influence on lone liness through social supports and coping style.Conclusion Negative life event,social support,and trait coping style are important factors related to lone liness.

Abstract:
Objective To study epidemiological features and correlation factors of psychological violence at hospital workplace.Methods Convenience sampling survey on the occurrence of psycho logical violence among medical staff was carried out in two grade Ⅲ general hospitals in Guangzhou city.Results A total of 260 questionnaire swere distributed with 249 valid questionnaires returned with a returnrate of 95.7%.Of 249 medical staff investigated,150 medical workers(60.2%)suffered from psy chological violence in last 12 months.Binary logistic regression suggested that the staff with college or bachelor degree had a higher risk of psycho logical violence than post graduates(OR=2.008,95% CI=1.805-7.553,P<0.01;OR=3.692,95% CI=1.805-7.553,P<0.05).Com pared with the staff aged ≥ 31 years,the staff aged 19-30 years were at higher risk of psychdogical violence(OR=2.140,95% CI=1.211-3.783,P<0.01).Most of hospital psychological violence occured during the day shift or in the ward.Conclusion The main related factors of hospital psy cholo gical violence were educational background and age.Comprehensive measures should be adopted to reduce psychological violence.

Objective To compare the MspI geno type polymorphisms of cytochrome P4501A1(CYP1A1)gene between Mongolian and Han studengts.Methods The genotype polymorphisms was analyzed by PCR restriction fragment length polym orphisms(RELP)of the CYP1A1 gene with the restriction enzyme MspI in 60 Mongolian and 60 Han students.Results CYP1A1 geno type frequencies were 33.3% for homozgous wild type(wt/wt),48.3% for heterozygote(wt/wt),and 18.3% for homozygous variant(vt/vt)in the Mongolian students.Among the Han students,the frequencies of homozygo us for wild type(wt/wt),heterzygote(wt/wt)and homo zygous variant(vt/vt)of CYP1A1 were 35.0%,51.7% and 13.3%,respectively.Chi squaretests showed no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The CYP1A1 geno type frequencies in the Mongolian and Han students of Inner Mongolia showed no statisical difference.

Abstract:
Objective To study mental health and its relationship with self efficacy and coping style among college freshman.Methods A total of 521 college freshman were administe red with UPI(University Personality lnventory),GSES(General Self Efficacy Scale)and a questionnaire of coping style.Results The rate of mental health problems was 44%.There was no significant difference in mental health status between the freshman of different gender,from different areas,and from families with different number of children.There were differences in mental health between freshman with different self efficacy and coping style(P<0.001).The mental health status was positively correlated with self efficacy and coping style(r=0.23,0.21;P<0.001).Conclusion The training of self efficacy and coping style can improve mental health status among college freshman.

Abstract:
Objective To unde rstand the status of depression and anxiety among the users of community health service in Beijing,and to explore influence factors of depression and anxiety and relationship between depression,anxiety and hope-lessness.Methods Overall 2883 subjects were investigated with an essential information questionnaire,Beck Depression Inventory(BDI),Beck Anxiety Inventory(BAI)and Beck Hope lessness Scale(BHS).Results The multivariate Logistic regression analys is showed that the influence factors of depression were hope lessnes(ORs=70.58,4.08,2.96 for severe,mild and light hope lessness,respectively),seeing a doctor(OR=1.81),outlander(OR=1.27),with college education or upper(OR=0.70),physical exercise(ORs=0.44,0.64,0.72 for frequent,sometime and seldom excercise,respectively),without negative life event(OR=0.26).The influence factors of anxiety were hopelessness(ORs=21.73,8.09 and 2.64 for severe,mild and light hope lessness,respectively),seeing a doctor(OR=3.24),average family income per month(OR=0.48),without chronic disease(OR=0.58),without family mental disease history(OR=0.44),without negative life event(OR=0.30).The correlation coefficient of depression and anxiety,depression and hope lessness,anxiety and hope lessness was 0.59,0.41,and 0.33,respectively.Conclusion Hopelessness can increase the level of dep ression and anxiety.The development of mental health education could based on the influence factors of the depression and anxiety.
Effects of social support on mental health status of clinicians

Abstract:
Objective To explore the effects of social support and locus of control on mental health status of clinicians.Methods Two hund reds and seventy-six clinicians were tested with symptom Checklist290(SCL-90),social support rating scale(SSRS),internality,powerful others and chancescale(IPC).Results The status of mental health of the clinicians were better than the norm.Correlative analys is showed that there was a positive correlation between the factor of the power of other people in locus of control and all scales of SCL-90(P<0.01).There were significant correlations between in terpe rsonal sensitivity,depression and psychoticism and the most of factors of the locus of control and social support.Regression analys is revealed that the factors of power of other people and social support were significant predictors of the mental health of the clinicians.Conclusion The mental health status of clinicians was good.The power of the other people inlocus of control and social support can predict the mental health status of the clinicians.

Abstract:
Objective To understand the prevalence of posttraum aticstress disorder(PTSD)after the earthquke in Wenchuan in order to take proper countermeasures against PTSD.Methods Arandom sample of 409 subjects wholived in Qingchuan and experienced the earthquake were investigated for PTSD.Results Totally 257(62.8%)subjects were diagnosed with PTSD.The preva lences of PTSD in women,in the people who suffered from casualties in the family and in the people aged 41-50 were higher than others.Conclusion PTSD is a commonmental disorder after the earthquake in Wenchuan.Early countermeasures against PTSD should be taken to improve their mental health after the earthquake.

Abstract:
Objective To explore self-consistency and congruence in normal college training teachers and its relation-ship to subjective well-being.Methods A total of 411 normal college training teachers was investigated by self-consistency and congruence scale(SCCS)and subjective well-being(SWB)questionnaire.Results The agility of normal college training teachers(3.88 Points)was significantly higher than rigidity(2151 points)and incongruence(2.7 points).The subjects with lower academic backg round had lower rigidity score.The subjects with higher professional post had higher rigidity score(undergraduate:F(2,402)=3.89,P<0.05;master:F(2,402) =0.33,P>0.05;doctor:F(2,402) =7.01,P<0.000).The self-consistency and congruence of normal college training teachers was not correlated with subjective well-being.Conclusion The self-consistency and congruence of normal college training teachers is fine and not correlated with subjective well-being.
Effects of MAPK inhibitor on mRNA expression of Bcl-2 and Caspases-3 in NRK cells treated with cadmium chloride

Abstract:
Objective To study the effects of mitogen activated prote in kinase(MAPK)inhibitor PD 98059 on mRNA expression of Bcl-2 and Caspases-3 in NRK cells treated with cadmium chloride(CdCl2).Methods Cell apoptosis was tested in NRK cells treated with CdCl2 for 6 hr with flow cytometer.Nature kill(NRK)cells were pretreated with MAPK in hibitor PD 98059 for 1hr,then treated with various doses of CdCl2.Realtime flourescent quantitative PCR was applied to monitor the mRNA expression of Bcl-2 and Caspase-3 in NRK cells after the treatment.Results CdCl2 induced dose dependent apoptosis in NRK cells,and a decrease in Bcl-2 mRNA expression a swell as an increases in Capsase 3 mRNA expression.Pretreatment of NRK cells with MAPK inhibitor PD 98059 blocked effects of cadntium on Bcl-2 mRNA expression deerease and Caspase 3 mRNA expression increase.Conclusion MAPK inhibitor PD 98059 could interfere with the effects of CdCl2 on Bcl-2 and Caspase 3m RNA expression in NRK cells.The results indicated MAPK signal pathway might be in volved in cadmuiminduced apoptosis.
Evaluation on safety of domestic pandemic influenza vaccine among healthy adults in phase Ⅰ clinical trials

Abstract:
Objective To conducta phaseⅠclinical trial for pandemic influenza split-virion vaccine H5N1 and to assess the safety of the vaccine.Methods We conducted a single center,stratified-random,double-blind,placebo-con trolled trial involving healthy adults aged 16 to 60 years who were assigned in a 1:1:1:1 ratio to receive two doses schedule(admin is tered on days 0 and 21)of placebo(n=33)or an inactivated split-virion influenza A(H5N1)vaccine with 7.50μg(n=33),15.0μg(n=33),30.0μg(n=33).Results In the stage of clinical trial and follow-up,no abnormal reaction,coupling reaction and any clinical significant serious adverse event was reported.Most of the reactions in all vaccine formulations wereⅠgrade local reactions recovered with in 48 hours.Reactions in treatment group were significantly higher than that of in placebo control group(χ2=25.2825,P<0.0001).The local and the systemic reaction rate of the group with 30.0 μg dose was the highest(78.79% and 51.52%).Reaction rate was 100% higher for the first dose than that of the second.Conclusion Pandemic influenza split-virion vaccine had better security,no gradeⅢ and above of adverse reaction occured.

Abstract:
Objective To investigate the prevalence of HIV,HCV,syphilis infection and AIDS knowledge and related behaviors among men who have sex with men(MSM)in Urumqi.Methods The eligible MSM were given in depth interview by well-trained interviewers,and they were detected for HIV,anti-HCV antibody and syphilis antibody.Results HIV positive rate was 2.16%;syphilis infection rate was 10.82%;anti-HCV positive rate was 1.30% am ong 231 MSM.The subjects had certa in degree knowledge on AIDS.Among them,36.00% claimed always using condom in anal intercourses with men in the past 6 moths;16.88% reported having sex with women.Only 40.00% of the subjects used condom and 12.50% claimed always using condom during intercourses with women.Conclusion There is a high prevalence of HIV and syphilis infection among MSM in Urumqi and effective intervention should be taken to prevent the disease.

Objective To construct a model in vitro of HBV infection of human trophob last in mother-to-child transmission during pregnancy through studying the possibility of human placental trophoblast Bewocell line infection of hepatitis Bvirus(HBV).Methods The human trophoblast Bewocell line were co-cultured with HBVDNA positive sera.HBVDNA copies in Bewoculture supernatant was measured by fluorescence quantitaive PCR.Immunoh is tochemistry ABC was conducted to detect expression of HBsAg in Bewo cell climings lide.Results HBVDNA was successfully detected in Bewo culture supernatant after co-culturing for 24 and 48 hours with HBVDNA positive sera.Expression of HBsAg was successfully detected in Bewocells.Co-culturing with HBVDNA positive sera had no obvious impact on Bewocell morphology.Conclusion The human trop hoblast Bewo cell line can be infected by HBV through co-culture with HBVDNA positive sera.The model can be used to study the mechanisms of HBV infection in placenta.

Abstract:
Objective To understand psychologically health condition and its inlfuencing factor in farmers losing farmland because of social development for policy making.Methods Stratified clustering random sapmling was used to select farmers from two communities of Xuzhou city.Symptom check list-90(SCL-90)was adopted in the survey.Results The prevalence of mental problems was 42.5%(442)among 1041 participants with qualified information.The total score of SCL-90 and scores of somatization,anxious,hostile,terror,illiberality and neurosis were higher than that of farmers with farmland.There sults of multi factor analysis showed that elder age,bad health status,without help of family members,lack of contacts with others and dissatisfaction to governmental assistance were risk factors of mental disorders among farmers losing farmland.Conclusion There is individual difference in mental health status and occupation,age,sex,education level,marital and the family status social security condition,individual habits and customs are influence factors of mental health among farmers losing farmland.

Abstract:
Objective To explore correlations between 5,10 methy lenetetrahydro folate reductase(MTHFR)s C677T genetic pointmutation,exposure to chemicals during pregnancy and congenital heart disease(CHD).Methods A total of 144 cases and 168 controls were selected for the case control study and MTHFRC677T genotype was determined by poly merase chain reaction restricted fragment length polymorphism(PCRRFLP).Indicators of quantitative analysis for the in tensity of interaction between MTHFR gene C677TT and exposure to chemicals were analyzed with stratified Logistic multiplicative regression.Results The risks of CHD for subjects with geno type MTHFR 677TT was 3.215 times(95% CI:2.042 -5.784)higher than the subjects with genotype MTHFR 677CT or CC.The OR of CHD for exposure to chemicals during pregnancy was 2.150(95% CI:1.958-5.280).There was additive interaction effect between genotype MTHFR 677TT and exposure to chemicals during pregnancy.The relative excess risk due to interaction(RERI),the a ttributable proportion due to interaction[AP(AB)]and the proportion of in teraction effect between purefactors[AP*(AB)]were 4.938,60.23%,68.59%,respectively.Conclusion The in teraction of MTHFRC677T genetic point mutation and exposure to chemicals during pregnancy may increase the risks of CHD of off spring in pregnant women.

Abstract:
Objective To study the roles of MDR1 and MRP1 gene in acquired a rsenic tolerance in chronic a rsenic-exposed(CAsE)cells for a rsenic-resistance gene research.Methods The roles of MDR1 and MRP1 were inhibited with inhibitor Verap ami MK571 on single and combined level,respectively.MTT was used to detect the survival rates and IC50 of cells in test and control groups.AFS was used to detect a rsenic with in the CAsE cells at different times.Results For different a rsenic concentrations(2,4,8,16,32,64μmol/L),the survival rates of cells with the inhibitor was 73.5±0.02,54.6±0.07,44.2±0.05,20.5±0.09,13.5±0.1,7.6±0.05%,which were obviously lower than that of control groups(93.5±0.05,71.5±0.02,49.2±0.03,38.8±0.08,37.6±0.06,19.5±0.04%).With the role of Verapamil,MK571,the IC50 value was 8.8 and 6.22μmol/L,respectively.Meanwhile the two inhibitors combined plays an obviously reverse role,and the IC50 was 5.23μmol/L.The arsenic content in the CAsE cells with the role of MK571 was obviously higher than that in control and Verapamil groups and achieved the max imum value of 1.62ng at 10 hours after the treatment with statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion MDR1 and MRP1 plays an important role in the process of CAsE cells acquired to lerance to acute a rsenic exposure.

Abstract:
Objective To evaluate the application value of a new type probe(TaqMan MGBprobe)in real time PCR for detection of Neisseria meningitides.Methods Overall 230 samples of throatswabs from healthy people were detected with the established TaqMan MGB realtmie PCR,simple PCR and conventional methods.The detection rates of the three methods were compared to analyze their differences.Results The positive rate of Neisseria meningitides detected by Taq Man MGB probereal time PCR(10.47%)was significantly higher than conventional methods(3.48%)and smiple PCR(6.25%,P<0.001).Conclusion The TaqMan MGB probe real time PCR is a rapid,high sensitive and specific method in the detection of Neisseria meningitides,which could provide a rapid and convenient etiological diagnosis method for Ne is seria meningitides in epidemiological investigation.

Objective To study the relationship between hyperuricem ia and metabolic synodrome among a population in Fuzhou city.Methods A cross-sectional study was used to investigate health examinees.SPSS 13.0 statistical softw are was used to analyze the data.Results The prevalence rates of hypercholesterolem ia,hypertriglyceridemia,systolic pressure hypertension(SBP≥140 mmHg),diastolic pressure hypertension(DBP≥90 mmHg),obesity,high fasting glucose,low high density lipop rotein-cholesterol and metabolic syndrome were 23.81%,45.45%,15.81%,14.76%,44.66%,9.75%,6.06%,and 12.25%,respectively.Multiple variants regression analysis showed that there were positive correlations between prevalecne of hyperuricem ia and hypercholesterolemia,hypertriglyceridim ia,hypertension and obesity.There was a negative correlation between prevalence of hyperuricemia and sex(female).Conclusion Metabolic disorders are significantly related to hyperuricemia.

Objective To identify the structure and function of hyda tid disease diagnosticantigen P229 of Taenia saginata asitica,and to construct prokaryotic recombinant plasmids of the gene,to express and purify the recom binant prote in and conduct a preliminary immunoreacticity study.Methods By on line geneanalys is at bio infomatics websites,the gene from the Taenia saginata as iatica full-length cDNA plasmid libratory was identified.The coding region sequence and the characteristics of the deduced prote in were analyzed.The recom binant prote in was detected by SDS-PAGE after being induced with IPTG in Ecoli BL 21/DE3 and purified with NI-IDA affinity chrom atography.Its immunoreactivity was determined by Western blotting.Results The recom binant plasmid was successfully constructed.The recombinant prote in could react with Ta enia asiatica and Taenia rhynchus saginatus infected patient's serum.Conclusion The hydatid disease diagnostic an tigen P 229 of Taenia saginata asitica was cloned and expressed,and the purified protein was confirmed with immunogenicity.

Abstract:
Objective To understand the mental status of money boy(MB) for conducting health education and behavior intervention among them.Methods With the help of homosexuality volunteers,a cross-sectional anonymous questionnaires survey was conducted among MB.Results The average age of MB was 23.1±4.9 years.92.4% of 116 MB remained single,and most of them were students,workers for commercial service or job-waiting with well educated background.The prevalence of anxiety was 46.6%,and their scores of self-rating anxiety sale were higher than that of normal,except for foreboding of misfortune,acathisia and hyperidrosis.The prevalence of depression was 68.1%,and their of self rating depression scale scores were higher than that of normal,except for humoursome,hyposexuality and hard to make a decision.Conclusion MB was young with active sexbehavior and migration.The mental status of MB was worse than that of normal,and health education and behavior intervention should be conducted with the consideration of their psy chosocial characteristics.

Objective To survey the antibiotic resistance and the prevalence for penicillina seproducing Neisseria gonorrhoeae(PPNG)and potential tetracy cline resistance of Neisseria gonorrhoeae(TRNG)in Shenzhen.Methods Min miuminhibitory concentration(MIC)to 240 strains Neisseria gonorrhoeae of penicillin,tetracyc line,cipro floxacin,speeotinomy cinand ceferiaxone were determined with agard ilution method.PPNG strain swere determined with m dified quantitative iodine method.Results The percentage Neisseria gonor rhoeae strains resisteant to penicillin,tetracy cline,cipro floxac in and ceferi axone was 7.67%,78.33%,37.50%,and 667%,respectively.There were 32(13.33%)PPNG strains and 30(12.5%)TRNGstrains.31.67% of theiso lates were smiultaneously resistant to penic llin,tetracy cline and cipro floxacin.Conclusion Ceferiaxone and speeotinomy cin could be given the priority to treat patients with Neisseria gonor rhoeae.There sistant strains of Neisseria gonorrhoeae to penicillin and tetracyc line are prevalent.

Abstract:
Objective To study the biological characteristic of the cultured ligament cells derived from patients with ossification of posterior longitudinal ligament of the spine(OPLL).Methods The ligamental tissue of the spine was separated from OPLL patients and non OPLL patients.Eight ossified cell lines(OL1-OL8)and seven non ossified cell lines(NL1-NL7)were built.The pheno type of all the cell lines were observed.Results Four of eight OL cell lines expressed osteoblast pheno type with high alkaline phosphatase(ALP)activity(1.05±0.43/mL).The forming of bony tubercle,secretion of gly cosaminoglycans,calcium deposit were observed and osteocalcinl(OC)was detected(OL 1:3.7 ng/mL,OL 3:3.5 ng/mL,OL 7:2.9 ng/mL,OL 8:2.6 ng/mL).How ever,all NL cell lines expressed fibroblast pheno type with low ALP activity(0.47±0.05/mL)and no bone tubercle formation and OC secretion.Conclusion Spinal ligament cell line was established successfully.Cultured ligament cells from OPLL patients can express osteobla stpheno type in vitro.

Objective To investigate the statistical distribution of the data of cytok inesis-block micronucleus test to provide basis of statistical analysis.Methods The moment estimate parameters of the Poisson distribution,the negative binomial distribution,and Pearson goodness of fit test were used to evaluate the goodness of fit of the two different distributions.Results Neither the data of cytokines is-block mucronuc leustest for coke-oven workers and non-coke-oven workers presen ted Poisson distribution(P<0.001).The data of coke-oven workers showed a negative binomial distribution(P=0.545)and the data of non-coke-oven worke s did not(P<0.001).Conclusion For the data of cytokinesis-block micro-nucleus test with cluste red characte ristics,the negative binomial distribution fitting was a better choice compared to the Poissond is tribution fitting.

Objective To investigate an timicrobial resistance of Enterococcus isolated in the First Clinical Hospital of Jilin University during 2003-2007.Methods Disk diffusion testwas used to study the antmiicrobial resistance.The results were evaluated based on Clinical and Laboratory Standards In stitute.WHONET 5 was applied for analysis.Results Most of 642 Enterococcus strains were collected from urine(44.4%),respiratory secretion specimen(21.8%),secretions and abscesses(18.7%)and blood(8.6%)during 5 years.The rates of high level am no glycosides resistant(HLAR)in Enterococcus faecalis and Enterococcus faecium was 57.4%-72.5% and 72.1%-93.8%,respectively.There was novancomy cin and teicoplanin resistant strain.Susceptibility test showed thatEntero coccus wasmultiple resistant.During the 5 years,the antmi icrobial resistance of Entero coccus increased.Conclusion Monitoring of the antimicrobial resistance of Enterococcus sho ld be streng thened.The change of the antmi icrobial resistance should be investigated in order to direct rational drugus age inclinic.

Objective To investigate differential protein expressions between oral squamous carcinom a cell line KB and multidrug resistance cell line KBV 200 in vitro.Methods The surface enhanced laser desorption ionization(SELDI)was used.The KB and KBV 200 cells were harvested and then split by cell ly sate solution.The prote in mass spectra of the KB and KBV 200 cells was detected by CM 10 chip based on SELDI prote in chiptechnology.Results A total of 102 prote in swere captured by CM 10 chip,and 19 differential peaks were found.Among those differentially expressed proteins,15 were highly expressed,while 5 were lowly expressed in KBV 200 cells.Conclusion SELDI technology is convenient,sensitive,and repeatable in the detection of the different proteins expressions between oral squamous carcinom a cell line KB and multidrug resistance cell line KBV 200.

Abstract:
Objective To determine the bone mineral density(BMD)in healthy female living in phosphorus mining area of Guizhou province for providing reference of osteoporosis(OP)diagno sticcriteria.Methods A total of 762 randomly selected healthy female aged 16-90 years were enrolled in the survey.The BMD of preferential hand finger and left side calcaneum were measured with a ultra sound devise(Osteo space Alara France).SPSS 11.0 was used in data analysis.Results The peakvalue of BMD appeared in the subjects of 36 to 40 years old and decreased obviously with age at 46 to 50 years.The prevalence of osteoporosis was 5.8% in age group of 31 to 35.Conclusion The BMD decreases with age and the incidence of osteoporsis increases with age among the female living in phosphorus mining area.

Objective To investigate defense styles of migrant workers in Shenzhen city.Methods Totally 1530 migran tworkers were assessed with defense style questionna re(DSQ)and Eysenck personality questionnaire(EPQ).Results DSQ score of the males on immature defense mechanisms(4.58±1.24)were significantly higher than that of the female(4.39±1.08).DSQ scores of mature defense styles on stable extraverts(5.48±1.07)and unstable extraverts(5.37±1.26)were significantly higher than that of on stable in troverts(5.05±1.14)and unstable introve rts(5.18±1.13).From high to low,DSQ scores on immature defense style were unstable in troverts(5.05±1.00),unstable extraverts(4.81±1.04),stable introverts(3.92±1.00)and stable extraverts(3.75±0.98).Conclusion Male migrant workers use more immature defenses tyles than the female.The defense style is different among workers with different personality.

Objective To investigate the effects of high fatdiet on iron homeostasis of brain in mice.Methods Forty adult male ICR mice were randomly divided intofour groups:high fat diet group,high fat diet+D-galactose brain aging model group,D-galactose brain aging model group and normal control group.Learning and memory ability of the mice were detected by Morr is water mazetest.The hepcidin(Hep)m RNA level was detected by reverse transcr iption po lym era se cha in reaction.Results The Hep gene expression of high fat diet group(0.71±0.06),high fat diet+D-galactose brainaging model group(0.73±0.08)and D-galactose brain aging model group(0.75±0.03)dec reased significantly compared with that of the nomal control group(0.94±0.06,P<0.05).But there was no significant difference among high fat diet goup,high fat diet+D-galactose brain aging model group,and D-galactose brain ag ing model(P>0.05).Conclusion High fat diet can down regulate the Hep gene expression in mice brain.High fat diet may induceim balance of iron homeostasis leading to neurodeg enerative diseases.

Abstract:
Objective To study the effect of different dosages of fluoride on free radicals,oxidative stress and ultrastructure of liver in rats.Methods Drinking water with various concentrations of sodium fluoride was given to rats for one month.The contents of fluoride,nitnic oxide(NO),maleic dialdehyde(MDA)and activities of glutathion peroxidase(GSH-Px)in the liver of rats were measured.Results The serum fluoride increased in dose-effect manner with the fluoride exposure(R=0.884,P<0.01).There was no significant difference in NO between exposure and control groups(P>0.05).The liver MDA of experimental groups increased with a dose-effect trend compared with the contral group(R=0.797,P<0.01),and the GSH-Px decreased with the fluoride exposure(P<0.01;R=-0.912,P<0.01).The swollen mitochondrion and degeration of fatty cells were observed in midium and high fluoride exposure groups.Conclusion Fluoride exposure may induce oxidatives tress and ultras tructure changes of the liver in rats.

Objective To explore the inhibitory effect of hydroxy tyrosol(HT)on oxidative injury induced by Sudan Ⅰin HepG2 cells.Methods The single cell gel electrophoresis assay(SCGE)was performed to study the DNA damage.The in tracellular reactive oxygen species(ROS)formation was measu redusing 2,7-dichloro fluorescein diacetate(DCFH 2DA)as a fluorescent probe.The levels of oxida tive DNA damage and lipid peroxidation were estimated by immunocy to chemistry analysis of 8-hydrocyde-oxyguanosine(8-OHdG)and by measuring the level of thtiobarbituric acid-reactive sub-stances(TBARS).Results Com pared with the control group,HepG2 cells treated with 100μMSudanⅠshowed significantly different DNA strand breaks(tail length of com et:46.49±2.06μm,the ta ilmoment:19.99±1.44μm),and the increases of ROS(9.03±1.05μm measured by fluorescent in tensity),in tracallular TBARS level(0.41±0.15μm)m easured by absorbency,and the increase of 8-OHdG expression(20.5±0.09μm measured by rleative staining intensity).Pretreatment with HT could inhibit the DNA damage and decrease the level of ROS,TBARS and 8-OHdG in a concentration-dependent manner.Conclusion HT could modulate the redox state and prevent the oxidative damage induced by SudanⅠin HepG2 cells.

Objective To investigate the influence of calcium intake on mRNA expressions of key enzyme of hepatic cholesterol metabolism,HMDC oAreductase and CYP7A in hyperchole sterolemic rats.Methods Four week old male Wistar rats,following 2 weeks of inducing hypercho lesterolemia model successfully,were fed with purified expermiental diets containing 0.5%(Group B),1.0%(Group C)and 2.0%(Group D)calcium with high fat concentration for 6 weeks.At the end of the experiment,the concentration of total cholesterol(TC),the mRNA expressions of HMDCo Areductase and CYP7A of the rats were examined.Results Compared with the initial of the expermient,TC was(2.32±0.75)mmol/L dropped by 6.07%(P<0.05)in group B.Greater inhibition in elevation of serum cholesterol concentration was observed in group C than in group A.Calcium intake tended to decrease the mRNA ex pression o f hepatic HMDC oA reductase and increase the mRNA expression of CYP7A in the rats.Conclusion A dequatecalc iumintake decreasses the level of serum total cholesterol in hypercho lestero lemic rats.Calcium in take also influences the mRNA expression of HMDCoA reductase and CYP7A.

Abstract:
Objective To explore the trait and influencing factors of social support in Zhuang peasants.Methods By multistage stratified cluster sampling,Social Support Rating Scale(SSRS)was applied to 921 Zhuang peasants.Results The total score of SSRS of Zhuang peasants was 39.26±7.86.There were significant differences in social support between Zhuang peasants of different sex,age,education diploma,ma rriage and chronic disease(P<0.05).The multiple factor non conditional Logistic regression analysis showed that there were five factors includng sex,age,education diploma,marriage and chronic disease relavant to social support of Z huang peasants.Conclusion Sex,age,education diplom a,marriage and chronic disease are influencing factors of social support in Zhuang peasants.

Abstract:
Objective To investigte antioxidant effect of various dosages of aplusin on aged mice.Methods The subacute ageing model of mice were made by back neck subcutaneous injection of Dgalac to secontinuo uslly.The oxidative DNA dam age of peripheral lymphocytes induced by H2O2 was analyzed by SCGE.O6 methy guanine(O6 MeG)was measured by high performance capillary zone electrophoresis.The content of malondialdehyde(MDA),activities of superoxide dismutase(SOD),and glutathione peroxidae(GSHPx)in the serum were tested.Results There was nosignificant difference in DNA spontaneous damage of peripherallym phocytes between treatment and control groups.There was a significant decreasing tendency of oxidatice DNA damage of peripherallym phocytes in 40,80 mg/kg·bw aphysin and Vit E supplement groups exposed to 10 mol/LH2O2 compared with blank control group(P<0.05).The conents of O6 MeG in plas ma of 40,80mg/kg aplysin and Vit E supplement group were significantly lower than that of the blank control(P<0.05).The SOD and GSHPx acticities in 40,80m g/kg aply sin and Vit E supplement groups were higher than that of the blank coutrol(P<0.05).The contents of MDA in all supplement groupswere significantly lower than that of the blank control(P<0.05).Conclusion The study indicated that aplysin could engange in antio xidantive acticities,strengthen the activities of antioxidative enzyme SOD and GSHPx,and lower the level of MDA.A ply sin can also decrease DNA damage effectively in the aged mice.

Abstract:
Objective To investigate the status of caries in residents of Hainan province.Methods The representative samples were selected by multi-stage stratified random sampling.The data were processed with SPSS 12.0.Results Overall 2880 residents were examined.The prevalence rates of dental caries(PP)in children of 5 years old was 76.1%;the mean caries(DMFT)was 4.88.The PP and DMFT was higher among the children in urban than that of children in rural area.The PP was 49.9% and the DMFT was 1.08 for children of 12 years without significant difference between the children in urban and rural areas.Among the residents of 35-44 years and 65-74 years,the PP was 79.8% and 2.6%,respectively,and there was statistical difference in the rates between urban and rural residents.Conclusion The prevalence of dental caries in re sidents of all age was at high level.It will be a long and hard work to streng then oral health education and continuously implement preventive oralcare technique in Hainan province.

Abstract:
Objective To investigate the beneficial effects of isoflavone on obesity,blood lipids and blood glucose in overiec tomied(OVX)rats.Methods Female 8 week old SD rats were randomly assigned to 6 groups.There were shamo perated control group(SHAM),ovariectomied control group(OVX),OVX with low,middle,and highiso flav ne groups(LS,IMSI,HSI),and OVX with estrogen group(EC).All anmials were a llowed freely to high fat diet and water for 4 weeks.Four weeks later,all rats were killed.Fat pad and internal organs were taken out and weighted.Blood lipids and blood glucose were examined by kits.Results Compared with OVX control,body weight,perirenal and parametrial fat weight were reduced in isoflavone groups(P<0.05).Uterus weight of high isoflavone group increased lightly(P=0.026)but other organs were not affected.Serum total cholesterol,trigly ceride levels were reduced and high density lipid cholesterol level was increased in isof lavone groups.Blood glucose was decreased significantly in middle and high isoflavone group.Conclusion Isoflavone could reduce the body weight induced by OVX,decrease abdominal fat pad deposition,and improve blood fat and blood glucose.

Abstract:
Objective To investigate the regulatory mechanism of enalapril to BMP-7 in diabetic nephropathy.Methods SD rats were divided in to control group and model group.The diabetes model was established by injecting STZ through vena caudalis,and the rats in the model group were divided randomly into diabetic group(DG)and diabetic enalapriltreated group(DEG).After 12 weeks,blood glucose,creatinine and 24 hours urineprote in were analyzed with biochemi calmethods.Kidney index was calculated.Immunohisto chemistry was employed to detect expressions of BMP-7,PKCα,ANGⅡ,CTGF and FN prote in in renal tubules of all groups.The mRNA levels of BMP-7 and PKCα in renal cortex were examined by RTPCR.Results Compared to control guoup,the expressions of PKC prote in and mRNA,ANGⅡ,CTGF and FN protein inrenal tubular cells were increased remarkably to 94.3%,62.2%,86.2%,93.6%,and 90.8% in DG group.On the other hand,the prote in and mRNA of BMP 7 decrea sed remarkably to 21% and 59.7% in DG.In DEG group,the expression of PKCα protein,PKCα mRNA,ANGⅡ,and FN protein was down regutated to 31.6%,41.3%,40.2%,54.7%,and 24%,respectively compared with that of DG;but the prote in and mRNA of BMP-7 were up regulated no tably to 21.1% and 15.3%.The expression of BMP 7 protein was negatively correlated with PKCα,ANGⅡ,CTGF and FN in DEG(r=-0.838,-0.885,-0.829,and-0.931,P<0.05 or P<0.01).Conclusion Enalapril can dmiinish renal ANGⅡ level and up regulatie PKCα and CTGF expression,then inhibit the expression of BMP-7 and therefore improve the damage in diabetic nephropathy.

Abstract:
Objective To know the status of blood pressure and risk factors of hypertension in residents of high alti-tude areas.Methods The survey was performed in 7350 adult residents living in the areas with altitudes more than 3000 meters.Blood pressure of the residents wasmeasured.There latde risk factors were investigated with the uniform question-naire.Results The prevalence of hypertension was 25.89%.There was a difference in hypertention prevalence between residents of high-altitude areas and the national average(P<0.05).The main risk factors ware excessive sodium,family history of hypertension,excessive alcohol drinking and overweight or obesity.Conclusion The hypertention prevalence in residents of high altitude areas is higher than the national average level and correlative with life style of the residents.

Abstract:
Objective To explore epidemiologic characteristics and influence factors of syphilis in Jiangsu province based on the data of six STD surve illance areas from 2005 to 2007 and to provide the evidence for further control of the disease.Methods Registe red cases of syphilis were collected from surveillance a reas and the data was analysed and the case investigation was also performed.Results The number of syp hilis screening in clinics showed an increasing of 21.6% and 84.2% in 2007 and 2006.The correct diagnose ratios for congenital syphilis,primary syphilis,secondary syphilis and latent syphilis were 0%,56%,63%,and 48%,respectively.29.8% of the latent syphilis patients were older than 50 years.65% of 54 doctors with qualified response acquired correct diagnostic criterion of syphilis and only 17% of 30 doctors knew the crite ion for conginital syphilis.Conclusion The measures of enhancing the STD knowledge through education should betaken in order to control the epidemic of syphilis in Jiangsu province.

Abstract:
Objective To study the an tibiotic resistance of Vibrio cholerae in Hainan province,and to provide the references for clinical treatment and prevention and control of cholera.Methods Eighty one samples from outbreak of cholera epidemic were collected in Hainan province in 2008.The antibiotic susceptibility of the 81 strains to 18 kinds of antibacterial was determined by improved KB method recommended by WHO.Results All the 81 strains were susceptible to norfloxa cin,cefotaxmie and cephalothin.The rate of resistance to streptomyc in,sulphame thox azole/trmiethoprmi,sulphafurazole and polymyx in B were 100%.The rate of resistance to tetracy cline was 92.59%(75/81).Conclusion Norfloxac in,ce fotax mie and cephalothin could be the choice of clinical treatment for case and carrier of Vibrio cholerae in Hainan province.But streptomy cin,sulpham ethoxazole/trimethoprmi,sulphafurazole,polymy xin B,and tetracychine could not be used.

Abstract:
Objective To explore the relationship between a rsenism induced by a rsenic-coal burning and liver dysfunction in order to provide evidence for early prevention of liver damage.Methods Physical check-up,B-typ eultrasonog raphic and pathological examination of liver were conducted to detect liver dysfunction among the population exposed to coal burning arsenic pollution in endemic area.Results Different symptoms existed among the population.A bnormal rates of B-type ultrasonog raphic examination of liver were 12%,34%,and 64% for subjects with mild,medium,and severe a rsenism(P<0.01).Main pathological change of arsenism patients was liver fibrosis.Glutathione S-transferase(GSTs),hydroxypro line(Hyp)and hyaluronic acid(HA)were significantly higher in all a rsenism groups than that of in the control group(P<0.01).Ttotal bile acid(TBA),γ-glutamyl transpeptidase(γ-GT),procollagen typeⅢ(PCⅢ),and collagen type Ⅳ(ⅣC)were obviously increased in medium and severe arsenism groups than that of in the control group(P<0.01).Conclusion Detections of GSTs,Hyp and HA are of important reference value for early finding and diagnosis of arsen ic-induced liver cell in jury and fibrosis.B-type ultrasonographic examination of liver and selective laboratory tests have practical significance for diagnosis and treatment of liver dysfunction.

Abstract:
Objective To monitor the epidemic situation of HIV strains in Hainan province by analyzing HIV-1 gene subtypes of HIV positives and AIDS patients.Methods PCR method was used to amplify env and pol genes of HIV-1 gene sequences after RNA reverse transcription extracted from 88 HIV-1 positive plasm a samples.The nucleotide sequence of amplification products was determined,and the genetic subtype was identified by comparative analysis.The max im umlike lihood(ML)phylogenetic tree was constructed for analysis of the spread cha in among HIV positives.Results Env and polgene fragments of HIV-1 were successfully am plified for 83 sample,and 6 kinds of HIV-1 subtypes and recombinant gene were found,inc luding 70 CRF01-AE subtype samples,8 B'subtype samples,2 C subtype samples,1 B subtype sample,1CRF08 -BC sample,and 1 recombinant subtype of CRF01-AE/B'samples.In the ML phylogenetic tree,83 samples were divided in to four dissem inative groups(66/83)and non-dissem inative groups(17/83),in which the dissem inative group 1(59/83)was the largest.Conclusion There are at least 6 kinds of HIV 21 gene subtypes in HIV/AIDS patients in Hainan province,and CRF01-AE subtype accounted for 84.33%(70/83)of all positives,mainly distributed among the intravenous drug users and their sexual partners in alarge disseminative group.Next is B'sub type(9.6%).Four other subtypes(6%) are observed only in individual case.The results suggest in travenous drug is the main route of infection(67.5%)in Hainan province.

Abstract:
Objective To understand the prevalence of infectious disease among military personnel in order to provide information for control of notifiable infectious disease in the army.Methods Monitoring data of notifiable infectious diseases were collected and analyzed.Results Among all inpatients in a military ho spital,the annual ratio of in fectious disease inpatients was 25.48%,23.78%,17.20%,17.62%,and 15.92%,respectively from 2004 through 2008,repectively with a decrea singtrend.The first five disea ses were chickenpox,infectious diarrhea,mumps,viral hepatiti,sand bacillary dy sentery,accounting for 79.19% of all hospitalizton.Conclusion There is a decreasing trend for notifiable infectious disease among military personnel of a troopowing to implementation of monitoring and prevention measures.

Objective To describe characte ristics of burn patients.Methods With retrospective method,the age,occupation and cause of burn of burn patients in a hospital were analyzed.Results Among 5 237 patients,there were 3 185 male and 2 052 female and male to female ratio was 1.55:1.The two age peakes in the burns patients were before 10 years and beween 31-40 yeares.The most of ten of burn injury was caused by hot liquits.More burn in jury occured among residents(56.3%)and more frequently at living places than working places.Conclusion The children and people of 31-40 yeares old are the populations with higher risk of burn in jury.

Objective To understand the circum stance of sexually transmitted diseases(STD)related knowledge and non-marriage sexual behavior among urban peasant workers,and analyze the influencing factors of non marriage sexual be havior.Methods A total of 700 peasant workers of the local mainstream industry(shoem aking,electronic and machinery industry)were investigated with anonymous questionnaire.The influencing factors of non marriage sexual behavior were analyzed by non conditional logistic regression analysis.Results Among 635 peasant workers,the recognition of AIDS was the best(46.85%)and that of gonorrhea was the poorest.42.2% of the subjects was with the knowledge score of zero 0 and only 2.83% with complete knowledge of AIDS.There were 249 peasant workers(39.21%)had non marriage sexual behavior and only 113 persons(45.38%)using condomeach time.The influencing factors of non marriage sexual behavior was prmiary school education(OR=4.28),male(OR=2.14)and over 35 years old(OR=5).AIDS knowledge(OR=2.19)was the factors affecting the condom using in non marriage sexual behavior.Conclusion Some peasant workers in Zhaoqing city are lack of STD related knowledge and the non marriage sexual behavior is common among them.The health education of STD related knowledge and intervention in non marriage sexual behavior should be carried out in the population with low education,male and over 35 years old.

Objective To detect fungal aerosol distribution in laboratory for biological laboratory safty.Methods Airborne fungal samples were collected by Ande rosn 6-stage,PDA mediun in the fungal laboratory and ordinary laboratory.Results The predominant fungi genera were A.niger,P.islandiun and A.flavus in the fungal laboratory and 195,60,and 20 CFU/m3 higher than that of in the average concen tration.The prdeominant fungi genera was Penicilliun auounting for 67.4% of fungi in ordinary laboratory.The concentrations of fungal acrosol were 8.3 CFU/m3,304 CFU/m3,and the CMD(count median dianeter)were 2.76,3.66μm in fungal and ordinary lobaratory,respectively.Conclusion The results showed that the content of fungi in fungal laboratory was much higher than that of ordinary laboratory.

Abstract:
Objective To understand subhealth status and its influenceon suicidal behavior among urban high school students in Bengbu city,to provide evidence for promoting mental health and early intervention for suicide behavior in secondary school students.Methods The survey was conducted among 3784 students in urban high school students.Suicidal Behavior Questionnaire and Physical and Mental Health Questionnaire of Young People were adopted and the multi-factor regression was used in the analysis.Results The subhealth detection rate was 52.70%.The reported rates of suicide ideation and suicide attempt were 30.5% and 3.5%,respectively.Suicide ideation and suicide attemptrates were higher in students with a subhealth symptoms than in the students without the symptomswith significant difference.The suicide ideation and attempt were positively correlated with subhealth symptoms.Multi-factor regression analysis showed that emotional problem,behavior problem,social adaptation difficulty,and lower body vitality were risk factors for suicide ideation,and emotional problem,behavior problem were the risk factors of suicide attempt.Conclusion There were high prevalence of subhealth and suicide ideation among high school students in Bengbu city.Subhealth and subhealth symptoms have obvious impact on suicide ideation and attempt among high school students.
