Abstract:
Objective To find out the effective control measures for preventing taeniasis by investig ating and analyzing the risk factors of taeniasis in the inhabited areas of Pumi minority in Lanping county.
Methods An epidemiological survey was carried out by using aquestionnaire of risk factors of taeniasis & Cysticer cosis with a stratified sampling.The investigated factors were analyzed by univariate and multiv ariate logistic reg ression.
Results 3 inhabited areas of Pumi minority with 521 people and 15 kinds of risk factors were investigated in Lanping county.The average infected rate was 66.99%.The results of univariate logistic analysis showed that 7 kinds of risk factors, such as age, nationality, occupation, education, untaking tae niafuge, drinking water source and eating raw pork liver, were the main risk factors.The results of multiv ariate logistic analysis showed that 5 of 7 kinds mentioned above except occupation and education were the main risk factors.
Conclusion Aimat the main risk factors to carry outhealth education for readicating the unhealthy habits; to provide clean drinking water, build and rebuild healthytoilet; to provide enough taeniafuge in the inhabited areas of Pumiminority.
