Abstract:
Objective To study the effect of B(a)Pon nitric oxide(NO)and nitric oxide synthase(NOS)activity in brain of carassius auratus, and to explore the toxic mechanism of B(a) Pin aquatic ecotoxicology.Meanwhile, to find sensitive and convenient sublethal biomarkers.
Methods Six groups were incorpor ated, including blank control, carrier control, and 3×10-4-3×10-1 mg/L B(a) P groups. After an exposure of 1, 3, 6 d and 12 d respectively, determining the biomarkers.
Results NO level and NOS activity had a dose-and time-dependent change after exposure to B(a) P.
Conclusion The induction of NOS and NO was one of the means by which B(a) Pdamaged carassius auratus.
