Abstract:
Objective To investgate the inducible B-lact amase producing(IB)isolated enter bacter cloacac and their bacterial resistance.
Methods 103 E.cloacac pro ducing IB and the susecptibility to 20 antibiotics were performed by Microscan Auto Scan-4 and plate NC21, version 22 analysis software according to the guidance of National Commitee for clinical Laboratory standards(NCCLS).
Results The sensitivity percentages to imipenem and piperacilin/tazobactam was 89.3% and 63.1% respectively; the other antibiotics were less than 50.0%.70 strains produced IB in 103 E.cloacac(68.0%), and their sensit ivities to iperacilin/tazobactam, amikacin, ceftazidime, cefepime et al were significantly higher than those of non-IB(P < 0.005).
Conclusion The rate of E.cloacac produce IB induced by antibiotics is high, and is severe resistance to antibiotics.
