Abstract:
Objective To observe the injury effect on the testes and liver in mice caused by carbon tetracholoride.
Methods The treat group mice were given0.2 ml/10(g°bw)of 10% carbon tetracholoride through i.g.The control group mice were given cigetable oil. After 24h injection, the mice were killed and the activity of GPT, SOD and GSH-Px and the content of MDA, in the liver and SDH, LDH, G-6-PD in the testes were determined.
Results The content of MDA、the activity of SOD and GSH-Px in the liver in the treat group were higher than those of the control group(P < 0.05).The content of ALT in the treat group was lower than that of the control group(P < 0.05).The activity of LDH in the tests in the treat group was higher than that of the control group(P < 0.05).There was no obvious difference in the activity of SDH and GSH-Px in the tests between the treat group and the conrol group.
Conclusion The carbon tetracholoride can cause the lipid peroxidation injury of the liver and damage the activity of the enzyme in the testes.
