Abstract:
Objective To investigate serum antibodies against Norwalk-like viruses of a military university and the concerned factors; such as blood type and the family locus before enrolling.
Methods Serum specimens are tested by an indirect enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)for specific Ig G respectively to rNV, rMX and r387.
Results The seropreva-lence is 88.9% for rNV, 54.1% for rMX and 90.0% for r387.There is significant difference between blood types for rMX of which the type O prevalence is the highest(62.5%), and the type B is the lowest(49.1%).And there is significant difference between the family locus before enrolling for rNV, rMX and r387.
Conclusion The data indicates that infections of Norwalk-like viruses in the military university are very common. And blood type and family locus before enrolling may be the risk factors of the serum antibodies of Norwalk-like viruses.
