Abstract:
Objective In order to understand the status of sensory integration dysfunction and the influencing factors in children.
Methods Child Integration Scale and self-made questionaire of influencing factors were applied to investigate 933 pupils aged 6 to 11.
Results The total rate of sensory integration dysfunction was 34.7%.The rate in boys was higher than girls significantly(42.3% and 28.8% respectively).The main risk factors of child sensory integration dysfunction were: study experience of mother, family's format and circumastus, the attitude and ways of parents in instructing children, the condition before pregnancy, children's illness before school and kinship care.
Conclusion Sensory integration dysfunction was an end of multiple factors and multiple intervention approaches were necessary for prevention.
