Abstract:
Objective To explore the effects of environmental pollution of nonferrous metal to health of population.
Methods The 1 104 people in area polluted with nonferrous metal and 632 people in control area were selected with complete group sampling and their health condition were surveyed.
Results (1) The prevalence rate was significant different between polluted and control area(P < 0.01);(2)The prevalence rates of the disease of respiratory system, nervous system, skin, arthritis, toothache, bone hyperplasia, protrusion of intervertebral disc and damage of kidney were significant different between polluted and control areas(P < 0.01);(3)The prevalence rates of cold, trachitis, asthma were significant different between polluted and control areAS(P < 0.01), the prevalence rates of pharyngitis, hypersensitivity rhinitis were marked different between polluted and control areas(P < 0.05);(4)Theprevalence rate in people aged over 50 years was significant different between polluted and control areas(P < 0.01).
Conclusion Environment pollution of nonfemousmetal can influence the people's health.
