Study on peripheral lymphocytes DNA damage and detection of serum SOD, LPO in smokers

  • 摘要:
      目的   探讨烟毒(尼古丁等)对人体淋巴细胞DNA的损伤, 以及对人体内脂质过氧化水平的影响。
      方法   对61名吸烟人员和30名非吸烟人员进行外周血淋巴细胞培养, 观察姐妹染色体单体互换率(SCE); 同时测定血清超氧化物歧化酶(SOD)和脂质过氧化物(LPO)。
      结果   吸烟组SCE、LPO显著增高, SOD显著降低; SCE与LPO呈显著正相关, 与SOD呈显著负相关。
      结论   烟毒(尼古丁等)使机体抗氧化能力下降、DNA损伤。

     

    Abstract:
      Objective   To investigate fumitoxin s(such as nicotine)damage to lymphocytes DAN and influence on human lipid perox idation level and to study their correlations.
      Methods   Peripheral lymphocytes of 61 smokers and 30 non-smokers were cultured, then sister chromatid exchange(SCE)rate was observed, the levels of serum superoxide dismutase(SOD)and lipid perox idation (LPO)were detected.
      Results   In smokers group, the levels of SCE and LPO were significantly increased and that of SOD was significantly decreased.The level of SCE was significantly positively correlated with that of LPO, and was signficantly negatively correlated with that of LPO.
      Conclusion   Fumitoxin(such as nicotine)decreased human antioxidant ability and caused DNA damage.
