Abstract: The absorption and utilization of active calcium powder in animal body was experimentally stu'ied. The calcium powder was produced by the Dalian ionic calcium factory from the oyster shell which was abundant in the coastal area. The results indicated that the behaviors of active ionic calcium power approximated to those of whole milk powder and calcium carbonate is rates of utilization of calcium in the feeds by the an imals,of absorption and retention is the calcium metabolism experiment.of retention of calcium in the femurs of the animals,etc.
