基本心理需求在大学生自主支持感与幸福感之间中介作用

Mediation effect of basic psychological needs on relationship between perceived autonomy support and happiness among undergraduates

      目的  探索大学生基本心理需求在自主支持感与幸福感之间的中介作用,为改善大学教育环境、营造自主性氛围提供依据。
      方法  采用自主支持感问卷、基本心理需求量表和牛津幸福感问卷(简版)对5所高校的713名大学生进行调查。
      结果  大学生的自主支持感得分为(54.44 ± 8.86)分,幸福感得分为(30.95 ± 5.87)分;归属需求得分为(29.77 ± 6.82)分,高于胜任需求(23.88 ± 5.57)分和自主需求(23.68 ± 6.19)分得分;大学生基本心理需求与自主支持感和幸福感呈显著正相关;基本心理需求在自主支持感与幸福感之间起部分中介作用,中介效应为0.19。
      结论  大学生基本心理需求在自主支持感与幸福感之间的中介作用显著。

     

    Abstract:
      Objective  To explore mediation effect of basic psychological needs on relationship between perceived autonomy support and happiness among college students, and to provide evidences for creating an autonomous atmosphere and improving educational environment in colleges.
      Methods  We conducted a questionnaire survey among 713 undergraduates selected with random cluster sampling in 5 universities or colleges in Wuhan city of Hubei province. All the participants were assessed with Perceived Autonomy Support Questionnaire, Basic Psychological Need Scale and Oxford Happiness Questionnaire-Short Scale.
      Results  The score of perceived autonomy support was 54.44 ± 8.86 and the happiness score was 30.95 ± 5.87 for all the participants. The score of relatedness need (3.71 ± 0.35) was higher than that of competenceneed (23.88 ± 5.57) and autonomy need (23.68 ± 6.19). There were significant positive associations of basic psychological needs with perceived autonomy support and happiness (P < 0.01). The basic psychological needs mediated the relationship between perceived autonomy support and happiness partially, with a mediated effect value of 0.19.
      Conclusion  Basic psychological need plays a mediation role on the relationship between perceived autonomy support and happiness among college students.
