健康宣传教育对山西省高校大学新生艾滋病知信行影响

Influence of AIDS prevention lecture on the epidemic-related knowledge, attitude and practice among college freshmen in Shanxi province

      目的  探索健康宣传教育对山西省高校大学新生艾滋病知信行等影响。
      方法  于2018年8 — 12月对山西省33所高校3 879名在校大学新生进行艾滋病健康宣讲,通过问卷调查评价健康宣传教育对提高防艾能力的效果。
      结果  通过健康宣传教育,3 879名大学新生对艾滋病平均潜伏期、窗口期、传播途径、相关“四免一关怀”政策、多个性伴侣对感染艾滋病的风险、发生性行为使用安全套等问题的认识均有所提高;大家面对艾滋病患者时,与艾滋病患者共同上课包容度、对艾滋病患者的身份、对告诉别人自己得了艾滋病、对坚持使用避孕套、对怀疑自己感染艾滋病后选择医治的认识均有所提高,且差异均有统计学意义(P < 0.01)。
      结论  健康宣传教育对山西省高校大学新生艾滋病知信行可以产生影响。

     

    Abstract:
      Objective  To explore the influence of health education on knowledge, attitude and practice (KAP) about AIDS among freshmen in colleges and universities in Shanxi province.
      Methods  We conducted on-site anonymous questionnaire surveys on AIDS-related KAP before and after lectures on AIDS prevention and control from August to December 2018 among 3 960 freshmen recruited in 33 colleges and universities in Shanxi province. Variations in AIDS-related KAP among the participants were analyzed.
      Results  Totally 3 879 freshman (49.1% males and 51.9% females with the mean age of 20.71 ± 1.28) completed the surveys. After receiving the lectures, significantly increased awareness rates were observed among the participants for AIDS-related knowledge (mean latent period, window period, transmission route, infection risk for multiple sexual partners, condom use when having sex) and prevention policies (free treatment for AIDS patients with economic difficulties, free voluntary consultation and screening test, free detection and medication in pregnancies with AIDS for preventing mother to child transmission, tuition-free for children with AIDS, and providing daily life support to AIDS patients with poor economic conditions), attitudes and practice about AIDS patients (having a class together with AIDS patients, disclosure of AIDS status for others and self, condom usage, and seeking medical service when having a suspected infection) (P < 0.01 for all).
      Conclusion  Special lectures on AIDS prevention and control could improve AIDS-related knowledge, attitude and practice among college freshmen.
