Abstract: Colorectal cancer screening program was launched in 2015 in Guangzhou municipality and a registration management system was developed and applied during the implementation of the program. At present, 413 866 preliminary screening cases, 19 683 colonoscopy cases, 8 537 opportunistic screening cases and 8 845 first-degree relative cases were registered in the system. There were 233 community health service centers and 39 designated hospitals reported screening information using the system, and 11 district-level project management institutions carried out quality control via the application of the system. The development and improvement of the system realized the informatization management, high-efficiency and high-quality implementation of the screening program, and provided effective support for the screening program.
