    Abstract:
Objective  To examine the satisfaction to national health examination and its influencing factors among participating residents in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region (Xinjiang) and to provide a references for improving the implementation of national health examination.
Methods  Using convenient sampling, we conducted a questionnaire survey among 2 159 residents aged 15 years and above participating in yearly health examination free of charge at 92 community health service centers or township hospitals in Xinjiang during May – October 2018.
Results  Of all the examinees, 1 900 (92.18%) reported the satisfaction to the examination. Unconditional multivariate logistic regression analysis revealed that the examinees having the health examination including health consultation service and providing free nutritious breakfast after the check-up were more likely to report the satisfaction; whereas, the examinees aged 65 years and above, with the education of college and higher, being a worker, being an individual businessman, and receiving his/her health examination report one week and even longer period after the examination were less likely to report the satisfaction.
Conclusion  The satisfaction to national health examination is mainly influenced by age, occupation, education, the time for getting examination report, whether providing consultation service, and whether providing free nutritious breakfast after check-up among examinees in Xinjiang.
