空气污染与人类生育能力关联研究进展

Relationship between air pollution and human fertility: a review

  • 摘要: 空气污染已经被证明与诸多人口健康特征有显著关联,已有一些研究揭示了空气污染可能对人类生育能力存在潜在的负面影响。本文通过全面的文献回顾,从医学机理、空气污染对人类生育能力定量影响效果的评估等方面进行综述。目前大部分文献指出空气污染对人类生育能力的显著负面影响,但也呈现了研究结果的可比性与一致性较差,对医学机制、尤其是女性人体医学机制关注不够,生态学研究有待进一步加强等特点。建议未来进一步加强医学机制的研究,关注发展中国家空气污染与人类生育能力的关系,丰富调查数据,加强生态学方法的运用与研究,为中国制定有效降低空气污染对生育能力负面影响的相关政策提供依据。

     

    Abstract: Air pollution has been shown to be significantly associated with population health, and recent studies have further revealed that air pollution may potentially have a negative impact on human fertility. The study comprehensively reviews biological mechanism and the quantitative evaluation of the effects of air pollution on human fertility. The results point out negative impacts of air pollution on human fertility; however the results are comparatively inconsistent and a few literatures focused on developing countries. Studies on biological mechanisms of air pollutants on fertility, especially for women, and ecological studies are insufficient. The study also proposes that in the future, the research of biological mechanisms should be strengthened; air pollution and human fertility in developing countries should be paid special attention to; cohort data should be enriched; the application of ecological methods could be improved to provide solid references for China to control negative impacts of air pollutants on human fertility.
