Abstract: The application of social network analysis broadens the research paradigm and experimental field of medical and public health practice and promotes in-depth development of epidemiology, medical and public health services, and health system. Public health emergencies and epidemic prevention have accelerated the popularization of social network analysis in the field of medical and health care. The research on public health from the perspective of system theory has been widely recognized by researchers and the research results show an increasing trend year by year. At present, social network analysis is mainly applied in medical information communication, public health behavior, social network, medical and health system research and other fields, among which the study of epidemic transmission network, medical network and medical system network has become hot topics in the field. The application of social network in the field of public health is promising. The expansion of network econometric model and the study of informal network will be the topics of great practical significance and exploration value in the future. In this study, relevant methods of bibliometrics were used to sort out the global development trend and general situation of this field from 2010 to 2019.
