果蝇体内SOD和MDA随增龄变化及其与寿命的关系

Effect of Age dependent Variation of Superoxide Dismutse Activity and Malonaldehyde Contents on Life span in Drosophila

  • 摘要: 每日观察记录果蝇生存数和死亡数;将不同天龄雌雄果蝇分别制成匀浆,测定匀浆中SOD活力和MDA含量.结果显示果蝇体内SOD活力在40、50天龄以前是随增龄而上升,进入老龄后开始下降;MDA含量随增龄而增加;各天龄雄蝇的SOD均高于雌蝇(P<0.01);40天龄后雄蝇的存活率明显低于雌蝇(P<0.05或P<0.01).表明果蝇体内SOD活力与MDA含量的平衡失调可能是引起衰老和死亡的原因之一.

     

    Abstract: To study the age-dependent variation of superoxide dismutse(SOD) activity and malonaldehyde(MDA) contents in Drosophila melanogaster and the correlationship between the variation and life-span.The numbers of living and died flies were recorded daily.Flies of different ages(days)were homogenated separately.The examining the SOD activity and MDA contents in the homogenates have been made.Ages of Drosophila being younger than 40、50 days,the SOD activity increased with advancing age,while that decreased in aged Drosophila.The levels of MDA increased significantly with aging.The SOD activity of male flies is significanthigher than that of female flies in every group.The percent survival of male flies is significant lower than that of female flies after 40 days.The unbalance between SOD and MDA could be one of the factors causing aging and death.
