Abstract:
Objective To explore the relation between CS
2 exposure and the trace elements of serum copper,serum zinc,serum selenium,provide the basis for the mechanism of toxicity effects of CS
2 on cardiovascular system disease.
Methods In filature workshop of a viscose rayon factory we selected 76 workers with age below 45 years old and touchtime to CS
2 beyond 5 years as exposure group;In cotton plasm workshop of the same factory selected 33 workers who once touched CS
2 but now have been kept away from CS
2 more than 5 years as intervention group;and selected 23 workers who had never touched CS
2 as control one,and the epidemiological cross-sectional investigation was carried out.
Results SCu,SZn and S Se of exposure group were all lower than control one(P=0.001).In multivariable stepwise regression,we discovered that exposure to CS
2 caused negative contributions on SCu,SZn,and SSe(partial regression coefficients β are separately -10.417,-8.9735 and-15.5098).
Conclusion The results suggested CS
2 exposure could reduce the levels of Scu,SZn and S Se.
