Abstract:
ObjectiveTo study the effects of family environment on behavioral problems in school-age children.
Methods Achenbach Child Behavior Checklist and the influential factor quetionnaire of child behavioral problem were applied to investigate 839 school-age children.The data were analyzed by case-control study.
ResultsThe incidence of school-age children behavior problems was 20.38%.Social problem,anxiety,withdraw,somatic complaints,depression,hyperpraxia and obsession were found in the case children.The influential factors contributing to school-age children behavior problems included parental educational status, occupation,the relationship between parent and child,the degree of parental expectation.
ConclusionThe school-age children behavior problem was related to family environment.To reduce the incidence of it,the importance of family environment must be stressed.
