Abstract: ObjectiveTo know the peoples health status in Hangzhou,and to find out the factors influencing health status.To afford the basis to make the disease control policy.MethodsTo analyze people's health status and risk factors comprehensively by mortality rate、YPLL rate(years of potential lost rate)、WYPLL rate(working years of potential lost rate)and VYPLL rate(valued years of potential lost rate).ResultsThe mortality rate of the city was between 4.66 and 5.66, while it was betw een 6.57 and 7.14 in the country from 1995 to 2000.There were no much differences in every year.The YPLL rate descends both in the city and in the country.In the city,it was from 32 13 down to 24.09.In the country,it was from 50.06 down to 42.31.The reasons causing people death were injury poisoning、malig nance and car diovascular disease.According to the analysis on the VYPLL(valued years of potential lost),they were injury poisoning、congenial malformations、psychoses and diseases of the nervous system.ConclusionThe people's health status in Hang zhou had been improved.The main reasons causing people death were injury poisoning、malignance、cardiovascular disease、cong enial malformations、psychoses and diseases of the nervous system.
