Abstract:
Objective To study the compatible and resisting mechanism between the early larval stages of Schistosoma japonicum and oncomelania huensis for getting the basic data.
Methods The hemolymph samples of oncomelania hujpensis were obtained by pressing the foot muscles of the snail. The acid phosphatase(ACP)in the blood cells of oncomelania hupensis was observed at the light microscope level by the burstone stained technique.
Results The ACP reaction products were seen in the perinuclear region of the spreading blood cells, but they were not seen in the round blood cells.
Conclusion There is ACP in the spreading blood cells of oncomelania hupensis.
