Abstract:
Objective A simple RP-HPLC method was developed to explore the leaching behavior and concentration of sev en environment estrog ens simultaneously in v olatile gas of plastictoys.
Methods Some parameters were optimized by singl-efactor experiments and the effects on concentrations of sample dosage, N2 flow, elapsed time and gas temperature were studied.
Results Seven environment estro gens were detected simultaneously and the performance indexes were satisfied.The concentrations of seven environment estrogens in volatile gas were increased along with the sample dosage, N2 flow, elapsed time and gas temperature increased, and the total concentration ranged from several gammas to more than one hundred gammas.
Conclusion The method was suitable for the detecting and investigating of seven env ironment estrog ens in air samples.There was a large concentration of environment estrogens leaching in air from plastic toys.And some constructive prevention methods should be taken for the health of children.
