砷中毒病区儿童智力水平调查

Investigation on children's intelligence level in arsenic-poisoned areas

  • 摘要:
      目的   探讨高砷暴露对儿童智力发育的影响。
      方法   选取砷中毒病区和对照区, 测其8~12岁儿童的智力水平, 对2组测定结果进行分析比较。
      结果   砷中毒病区儿童智力水平明显低于对照组(P < 0.01), 平均智商落后于对照组10个智商(IQ), 其智商分布与对照组比较, 差异有统计学意义(P < 0.05), 智商低下的发生率达到4.44%。儿童尿砷值与智商值之间呈明显的负相关关系(r=-0.210, u=2.89, P < 0.01)。
      结论   长期砷暴露可影响儿童的智力发育, 积极防治砷中毒对保障儿童的身心健康具有重要意义。

     

    Abstract:
      Objective   To explore the influence of arsenic exposure on children's intellig ence.
      Methods   Two groups were sampled in arsenic-poisoned areas and non-diseased areas.The level of 8~12 years chidrens intelligence were analyzed.
      Results   The children's intelligence level of the arsenic-poisoned area was lower significantly than of the control group (P < 0.01).The average level of children's intelligence was lower 10 IQ than that of the control gtoup.The children's intelligence distrbution of the arsenic-poisoned area was different significantly(P < 0.05).The lower rate of chidrens inrelligence distribution of the arsenic-poisoned area was different significantly(P < 0.05).The lower rate of children s intelligence of the arsenic-poisoned area was 4.44%.The level of children's intelligence was negatively correlation with the urine arsenic concentratin.
      Conclusion   Childrens intelligence development can be affected by long-dated high arsenic exposure.Its important for promoting children's health to make effective prevention for arsenism.
