Abstract:
Objective To study anxiety and depression status and affecting factors of North-China land army soldier in peace, non-exercise and normal situation.And to offer some basis for army mental crisis interv ention.
Methods 775 land ar my soldiers in north China were investigated by sel-f rating anx iety scale(SAS)and self- rating depression scale(SDS).
Results (1) 26.1% of soldiers had anxiety feeling and 60.0% of soldiers had depr ession feeling.The scores of SASand SDSwere 44.5±8.4 and 51.6±9.6, respectively and both were significantly higher than China Norm.(2)The result of logistic regression sho wed that factors affected anx iety included married, coming from single parent family and suffering from body and mind disorders, factors decreasing incidence of depression were convenient communication with families, good interpersonal relations and full of avocation.Suffering from body and mind disorders had a significant relation with combine of anxiety and depression.
Conclusion More attentions should be paid on army soldiers high level feeling of anxiety and depression.Relevant mental health promotion measures should be conducted in army for changing solders.incorrect recognization and increasing soldier mental health level.
