Abstract:
Objective To achieve rapid detection of < em > Enterohemorrhagic escherichia coli < /em > O 157: H7 in food was achieved by using multiplex PCR assay.
Methods The virulence genes of EHEC: coli O157: H7 like toxin STX, rfbE, flic were chosen as the terget genes and amplified in multiplex PCR assays.
Results The assay was designed to amplify the 228, 378 and 709 bp regions of cornesponding virulence three genes And onl EH EC: coli O157: H7 was amplified.No specific amplication product was producied from other strains.
Conclusion
Conclusion PCR method is more concise, rapid, sensitive and more specific than conventional culture method.It is proved to be a new method for rapid detection EHEC: coli O157: H7 in food.
