Abstract: ObjectiveTo investigate whether leptin,resistin associated with obese-related insulin resistance(IR).MethodsTo screen out 90 samples,30 in obesity group,30 in normal body weight group,and 30 in thinness body weight group,measure the level of lept in,resistin,serum fasting insulin(FINS),fasting plasma glucose(FPG).IR was assessed by HOMA-Insulin Resistance Index(HOMA-IR).ResultsThe levels of leptin,resist in,FINS,FPG and HOMA-IR between three group had significant difference and had positive correalatio n,(P<0.01).No significant difference was found in resistin between three groups and have no correlation with other data(P>0.05).ConclusionIR maybe exist in obese children;Leptin have close association with IR;Resistin perhaps make no contribution to IR.
