Abstract: ObjectiveTo explore the parent'immunization program knowledge in some remote rural areas and provide basic information for a further health education.MethodsThe surveys were conducted at two townships in Pingshan county of Yibin city,Sichuan province.ResultsThe rate of correct answers,scores(19.92±12.420)and pass rates were low in the region.The source of the knowledge was limited and the main source was the individual publicity of medical personnel.All the result above from Yi people were worse than those from Han people.ConclusionAt present,parents'knowledge is deficient,especially minority parents.It's essensial to carry out the immunization program publizition and health education in these minority ethnic areas.
