Abstract: ObjectiveTo collect the basic infor mation about know ledge regarding AIDS of middle-school students,explore the effective intervention pattern and the effect appraisal of AIDS information education in middle-school students.MethodsTo collect 4 typical schools in 15 to which the investig ation about baseline was done.A comparism was carried on among 944 students before and after their receiving the inter vention.ResultsThe rate of elementary knowledge,dissemination knowledge and prevention knowledge of AIDS before the health education respectively was 58.76%,74.28% and 64.79%,and rised to 81.08%,91.15% and 88.34% after wards.The total score of knowledge regarding AIDS went up remarkably by 19.88% (P<0.01).ConclusionThe ability of students to prevent AIDS can be enhanced through health education at school,and a comprehensive preventive measure will have a positive effecrt on impelling AIDS prevention.
