Abstract: Objective To explore the effect of antibactrial proteins from the Musca domestica larvae on the JEC.Methods The effect of the antibactr ial proteins from the Musca dotestlca larvae on the gowth of the JEC were observed by cytom etry,MTTassay,and its effect on the growth of periodontal membrane cell of human were observed by MTT assay.The morphology of apoptosis cells was observed with hematox ylin-eosin stainings,and the apoptosis index(AI)was measured.Results A thigh-concentr ation groups,the cell number and the optical density(OD)of JEC were significantly decreased and with the increase of the concentration,the inhibitory rate of the cell proliferation was increased.The OD and the inhibitory rate of the cell proliferation at the all-concentration groups hadnosig nificant differ ence compared with the coatrol group in the periodontal membrane cell of human.Compared with control group,the apoptosis index(AI)were significanltly increased in all concentration groups.Conclusion The antibactrial proteins from the Musca domestica.larvae may be inhibited the growth of JEC by inducing the apoptosis of cell.
