Abstract:
Objective To explore congenital heart diseases(CHD)in offspring in association with maternal environmental factors.
Methods A 1:1 case-control study was carried out to investigate 115 pairs children and their parents.The possible risk factors were analysed by simple and multiple factors Logistic regression.
Results 4 factors were related with the occurrence of CHD in offspring:maternal exposures to pesticides in the early stage of pregnancy(
OR=7.316,95%
CI:1.196~ 44.731),catching a cold in the early stage of pregnancy(O R=4.806,95%
CI:2.092~1.104),suffering from diseases during pregnancy(
OR=2.851,95%
CI=1.189~6.838),depressed or nervous condition during pregnancy(
OR=3.318,95%
CI=1.829~6.018).
Conclusion The occurrence of CHD was related with maternal exposures to pesticides,catching a cold,suffering from diseases,depressed or nervous condition in the early stage of pregnancy or during the pregnancy.
