Abstract:
ObjectiveTo observe the effect of chronic lead contamination on protein expression of PKC-C in the hippocampus of mice.
MethodsChronic acetic lead contamination was applied to mice(2.4,4.8,9.6 mmol/L),and young mice were killed at 14,21,35,48 d respectively.Western blotting was used to observe the protein expression levels of PKC-C in hippocampus of mice.
ResultsCompared with the control group,PKC-Cprotein expression in the hippocampus of mice with chronic lead exposure was significantly down trended(
P<0.05).
ConclusionChronic lead exposure can disturb the normal expression of PKC-C protein in mice.
