Abstract: ObjectiveTo analyze neuropsy chiatric symptoms and their influencing factors in elder people in communities of Baoding city.MethodsBy using stratification-cluster method,2 189 people overage of 60 were investig ated with the international neuropsychiatric inventory(NPI).The factors influencing the symptoms were analyzed by Logistic regression.ResultsThe prevalence rate of neuropsychiatric symptoms in elder people was 17.77%.Those people with poor education,living alone,low income,introversion,ser ious diseases,no interestin sport,high position before retirement were likely to suffer from the sympto ms.ConclusionNeuropsychiatric symptoms in elder people shouldn't beignored.Those elder people should be educated in health and mentality.Their living conditions and quality should be improved so as to prevent their mental problems.
