Antagonistic effects of sodium selenite,vitamin E and C on DNA damage

  • 摘要: 目的 探讨硒、维生素E(VE)和维生素C(VC)对经X射线照射后的细胞抗氧化损伤作用.方法 利用碱性单细胞凝胶电泳法(彗星实验),观察面积和尾长2个指标,并进行分组设计,分析3种抗氧化剂硒、VE和VC不同水平的抗氧化作用以及二者或三者之间的交互作用.结果 硒、VE和VC单因素作用下,不同水平的彗星平均面积和尾长间差异均有统计学意义(P<0.0001),硒与VC的交互作用差异有统计学意义(P<0.05).结论 硒、VE和VC分别可以拮抗因射线而产生的DNA损伤作用,其作用随浓度的增加而加强;硒与VC之间存在拮抗DNA损伤的协同交互作用.

     

    Abstract: Objective To explore the anti-oxidization effects of sodium selenite,vitamin E and C after X-ray radiation.Methods Different dosages of sodium selenite,vitamin E and C were added into cell culture after irradiation to observe changes in DAN damage and synergistic effects between the both or three antioxidants by means of comet assay.Results Sodium selentie,vitamin E and C can decrease cell DNA damage(P<0.001).Synergistic effect existed between sodium selenite and vitamin C(P<0.05).Conclusion Sodium selenite,vitamin E,vitamin C can antagonize radiation DNA damage effectively,and the effect increases with the dose of the antioxidant.Synergistic effect exists between sodium selenite and vitamin C in antagonizing radiation DNA damage.
