Abstract: Objective To investigate the family function and related factors of the elderly in Anhui province.Methods Among 2212 people aged 60 years and above in Anhui province,a questionnaire survey was conducted to obtain data regarding family function,lone liness,social support.Results 46.1% of the elderly had family dysfunction,and 53.9% had good family function.In univariate analysis,marital status,age,educational level,and residential a reahad significant correlation with family function.The ordinal logistic regression showed that lone liness,social support,and filial piety were associated with family function.Conclusion The family function of the elderly deserves to be cared about,and the society and the family member should pay more attention to family function for the elderly.
