Abstract: Objective To reveal the prevalence and related risk factors of alcohol dependence in industrial enterprises workers.Methods Among 1920 workers in 3 industrial enterprises of Anhui province,a questionnaire survey was conducted to obtain data regarding drinking behavior,family function,quality of life and so on.Results The general prevalence of alcohol dependence in the workers was 39.9%.The ordinal logistic regression showed that age,education degree,family function and quality of life were associated with alcohol dependence.It was more likely to have alcohol dependence in workers aged behveen 30 and 49 than workers aged 50 or above.It was more likely to have alcohol dependence in workers who had junior high school education than workers who had university education and workers who had family dysfunction orpoor quality of lifeweremore vulnerable to alcohol dependence.Conclusion Health risk behavior interventions and family function,quality of life promotion might decrease the risk of alcohol dependence.
