Abstract: Objective To get infoun anon on comm unity intervention requirem ent of bereast cancer patients and their family memhers to provide theoretical base for adopting intervention measures.Methods A cluster sumpling technique was used to select 254 female breast cancer patients and their 241 family memhers to conducta questionnaire survey.Results The medical insurance formajor diseases was the prinary requirement(score=3.22±0.53)，and the requirementwas followed by the counseling on cancer progression,rehabilitation(including nutrition,exercise and reexamination) and information about body appearance,psychology and taking nounal social activity.The first requirement of the family memhers was to get infounanon on cancerprogression in tin e(score 3.17±0.646).The secondwas to know the unexpected states of the patients and the treament measures The third was to get the help of medical staff(score 2.83±0.796).Conclusion It is necessary to carry out special community intervention in accordance to different requirements of breast cancer patients and their family memhers.
