Abstract: Objective To screen substances promoting the growth of Escherichia coli for rapid detection of the bacterica.Methods The plate counting number of bacteria culture and optical density(OD)of culture solution were used to evaluate the promotive effects of trace elements,fungi extractant,and alage extractant on the growth of Escherichia coli.Electronic microscope was used to observe morphologic changes of the bacteria at lag,exponential,and stationary phases.Results Echlonia Kurome Okum solution extractant and yeast extractant at the concentration of 20 g/L and 2% showed obvious effect on the growth of Escherichia coli with 2.93 and 5.06 folds increases of OD values and 3.94 and 5.94 folds of plate counting number,respectively,compared to those of the control.Loose nucleoids and higher electron density were observed at exponential phase of Eschenichia coli growth.Conclusion Echlonia Kurome Okum solubion extractant and yeast extractant can improve the synthesis ability in exponential phase and promote the mitosis and growth of Escherichia coli.
