Abstract: Objective To analyze the influence of contraceptive in tervention program on contraceptive knowledge among floating people in Minhang district, Shanghai.Methods Multi-stage cluster random sampling metho was adopted in the study and the subjects were divided into control group and interventional group according to their working place.The subjects were investigated with a questionnaire.Statistical analyses includedX² test and logistic regression analysis.Results A total of 2001 m igrants were surveyed in the base line and 1791 were followed-up in the evaluation survey.The knowledge rate of 9 contraceptive methods in the interventional group was significantly higher than that of in the control group (t=-25.35, P<0.0001).Sex, marital status, working environment, length of residence at present address, and other factors in fluenced the level of contraceptive knowledge.Conclusion The interventional program can obviously improve the level of contraceptive knowledge among migrants.
