Abstract:
ObjectiveTo explore the prevalence of personality disorder and its influencing factors among university students and to provide evidence for early intervention.
MethodsStratified random proportional sampling was used to select 1 745 students for the survey.Personality Diagnostic Questionnaire-4th vision(PDQ-4)and version 3.0 of the Composite International Diagnostic Interview of World Health Organization(WHO-CIDI-3.0)were applied with a self-administered questionnaire investigation and face-to-face standardized interview.
ResultsThe positive rate of personality disorder was 4.58%.The influencing factors of personality disorder were family background,childhood environment,and degrees of social support in single factor analysis.Based on logistic analyses,risk factors for personality disorder were parents'bad psychologic status(odds ratio〔

P<0.01),high frequency of conflict in the family(

P<0.05) quarrel between parents(

P<0.05),fathers'suicide history(

ConclusionPositive rate of personality disorder in university students is high.Family background,childhood environment,degrees of social support are influencing factors of personality disorder.
