Abstract: Objective To study the quality of life(QOL)and its related factors among personnel working on human immunodeficiency virus/acquired immunodeficiency syndrome(HIV/AIDS)control and prevention in Heilongjiang province.Methods A total of 250 AIDS prevention and control personnel in Heilongjiang province were selected with random cluster sampling and surveyed with World Health Organization's Quality of Life Instrument-Short Version(WHOQOL-BREF).Results The scores of AIDS prevention and control personnel in physical and social domains were lower than those of normal population(P<0.01).The results of multivariate logistic regression demonstrated that the job satisfaction and family economic condition were the influence factors of physical,psychological and environmental domains of QOL.The level of education,years of working,job satisfaction,and family economic condition were influence factors of social domain of QOL.Conclusion The QOL of AIDS prevention and control personnel in Heilongjiang province is at a low level.Job satisfaction,family economic condition,education level,and years of working are main influencing factors of QOL in the population.
