中国9地区3-11岁儿童超重肥胖率不同标准分析

Overweight and obesity among 3-11 years old Chinese children in 9 regions: prevalence and comparison of different assessment criteria

  • 摘要: 目的 描述中国9地区3~11岁儿童超重肥胖现状,比较不同标准下超重肥胖检出率的异同。方法 采用多阶段整群抽样法选取9个地区共1788名儿童,测量其身高体重,采用SPSS 13.0软件分析,计算不同标准下儿童超重肥胖率。结果 WHO标准下超重、肥胖率分别为17.4%及6.7%,国际肥胖工作组(IOTF)标准下为15.0%及5.7%,美国疾病预防控制中心(CDC)标准下为18.5%及8.1%;超重肥胖检出水平方面,美国CDC标准检出率最高,其次为WHO标准,IOTF标准检出率最低;7岁以上儿童中,中国肥胖工作组(WGOC)标准下女孩肥胖检出率高于WHO标准及IOTF标准,女孩超重、男孩超重肥胖率则均明显低于各国际标准。结论 美国CDC标准超重肥胖检出率高于IOTF标准,WHO标准检出率则因年龄段而异;各国际标准间一致性较高,但与中国标准一致性较差。

     

    Abstract: Objective To describe the prevalence of overweight and obesity in preschool and school-aged children in China, and to compare the impacts of different criteria to the evaluation of overweight and obesity.Methods With multiple stage stratified cluster sampling, 1788 children were chosen from 9 urban and rural regions of China and measured for their weight and height between September 2011 and April 2012.The detection rate of overweight and obesity under four criteria was calculated with SPSS 13.0.Results Among the children, the prevalence rate of overweight and obesity were 17.4% and 6.7% according to the criteria of World Health Organization(WHO), 15.0% and 5.7% to that of International Obesity Task Force(IOTF), and 18.5% and 8.1% to Centre for Disease Control and Prevention of United States(US CDC), respectively, with the highest detection rate of overweight and obesity using the criteria of US CDC, the intermediate of WHO, and the lowest of IOTF.Among the children aged 7 years and above, a higher detection rate of obesity in the girls was observed using the criteria of Working Group on Obesity in China (WGOC) than using the criteria of WHO and IOTF, but obvious lower detection rates of overweight in the girls, overweight and obesity in the boys were found using the criteria of WGOC than using the criteria of WHO and IOTF.Conclusion The detection rate of overweight and obesity with the US CDC criteria are higher than those with the IOTF criteria and the detection rate varies with the age when using the WHO criteria among Chinese children of 3 to 11 years old.The results demonstrate a high consistency among the criteria of the three international institutions but a poor consistency between the WGOC criteria and those of the institutions when the criteria are applied among the Chinese children.
