Abstract: Objective To investigate the influrence of comprehensive image dialogue,mindfulness decompression,Naikan cognitive,brain rewiring (CMNB) therapy on the quality of life and treatment compliance of patients with acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS).Methods Totally 120 AIDS patients were recruited in New District Branch of Subei People's Hospital,Suzhou city of Jiangsu province,from March 2013 to February 2015 and were randomly divided into an intervention group (n=60) and a control group (n=60).The control group was treated with normal treatment and cared by AIDS specialized medical staff;while the intervention group received CMNB treatment on the basis of conventional nursing.The treatment compliance scale and World Health Organization Quality of Life in HIV Infection Abbreviated Version (WHOQOL-HIV-BREF) were used to evaluate the quality of life (QOL) six months after the treatments.Results All the scores of QOL of the two groups were relatively low at the beginning but improved after the six months's treatment.Compared to those of the control group,the intervention group showed significantly higher QOL scores in psychological domain (16.01±2.5 vs. 13.52±2.9),physical domain (14.00±2.81 vs. 11.20±2.92),and independence domain (13.51±2.79 vs. 11.60±2.90) six months after the treatment (all P<0.05);the compliance rate of the intervention group was 95%,also significantly higher than that of the control group (77%)(P<0.05).Conclusion CMNB treatment can effectively improve the quality of life and treatment compliance among AIDS patients with anti-virus treatment.
