Study of the Factors of Life Events on Young Student’s Mental Health

  • To study the influence of the stressful life events of the young students on their mental health.SCL290 and self-made investigation froms for the life events of the young students were used and processed statistical by SAS software package.Results showed that 21.22% students inveatigsted have mental barriers.A multivariable regression analysis also showed that gaining or losing the system of social support,competence or incompetence at sports and recreation activities,levles of the courses and majors have a strong influence on young students'mental health.With the multiple correlation R=0.5571,determinate coefficient R2=0.3104,P<0.001.Studies indicated the level of mental health has some close relation with negative life events.All these factors have an integrated effect on the level of the students'mental health.The study also suggests that there are other factors influencing the students mental health to be studied further.
