Observation on Distribution of the Atmosphere Pollen in Nanjing

Pollen is a component of bioaerosol in the atmosphere and an aller gen to respiratiory tract.To study the process of pollution, transport and decay of the atmosphere pollen,we used JW L-1 bioaerosol sampler to sample pollen in 50m highir on tower of Nanjing University.The results shown that the aver age concentration of pollen in the atmosphere was 109 particles/m³,pollen types had 6 species between 27 and 28,March.The average concentration of the atmosphere pollen was 474 particles/m³,the highest concentration was 634 particles/m³ at 7 clock A.M,the lowest concentration was 229 particles/m³ at 1 clock P.M.and pollen types had 23 species between 17 and 18,July.The study has elucidated a number of important relationships during the concentration change of the atmosphere pollen with season factor plant flowering time and meteorological change.
