Inhibiting tumor effects of heat shock protein antigen peptide complex on mice with transplanted melanoma B16 cells

  • In the present study,we prepared heat shock protein-antigen peptide complexes(HACs)and their crude extracts(HAC-CEs) from melanoma B16 Cell line, and studied on their inhibiting tumor effects.HAC2CE3 CE4 and HAC2CE5 prepared with gel filtration and HAC60,HAC75 and HAC97 purified with affinity chromatograhy all decreased the incidences of tumors, delayed the times of tumor development and reduced the mortality of C57BL/6J mice to varying degrees. The results suggest that HACs of 60~97 kD have the immunogenicity and the effects of inhibiting tumor, and offer the important experimental evidences for preparing tumor vaccines.
