Analysis of the Indicators of Life Expectancy at Birth Reduced by the Main Death Causes of the Residents in Jiading District, Shanghai

In this paper the main death causes are analyzed of the residents Jading District from 1985 to 1987 and from 1995 to 1997.PYLL indicator and SAS soft ware are used to deal with teh figures and analyze the statistics.Results showed the PYLL rate of the standard total death causes of Jiading District has reduced 31.35% in 1995～1997 than in 1986～1987.The PYLL rate of cerebra vascular diseases rise from the sixth to the third position.The PYLL of injury and poison and malignant tumors account for 60% or moves to the late stage and the average life expectancy has been prolonged.It is necessary to strengthen prevention and treatment of cerebra vascular diseases and malignant tumors,reducing the incidence of injury and poison and especially strengthen the self care of the male.
