Investigation Study on the Content of Microcystion in Tai Lake and Methods for Microcystion Treatment

Eutrophication of water results in microcystin increasing in water body.Using a highly sensitive enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)we detected hundreds of water samples collected from Tai lake and four Tai lake water plant.In the same time we try to find effective methods to remove MC from drinking water.The result shows:1.MC pollution is very serious in Tai lake,especially during July to September.we also found MC in treated water.2.Ozonation and AC are effective methods for MC treatment,however chlorination and UV only achieve good effect in right conditions.
