Efffect of Deltamethrin on Calmodulin Content and PKA, PKC Activities in Rat Brain

  • To make further understanding the mechanism of the neutotoxicocity of Deltamethrin(DM),Calmodulin(CaM)content and P KA,P KC activities were determined in different brain regions.The result illustrated;No obvious change of CaM content was observed in cerebral and cerebellum after DM treatment.The activities of P KA and P KC were significantly induced by DM.Activities of P KC in membrance and cytosol were also increased by DM.All the results demonstrated that the phosphorylation of brain proteins by P KA and P KC may by one of the mechanisms of the neurotoxicity of DM.
