Frequencies of Micronucleated and Multinucleated Cells in BALB/c -3T3 Cells in Vitro Induced by Wood Dust Extracts.

To study the mutagenicity of wood dust,BALB/c 3T3 cells were respectively treated with water's and organic extracts of beech wood dust and birch wood dust in vitro,and the frequencies of micronucleated and multinucleated cells in BALB/c 3T3 cells were observed.The results showed toxicity and the frequencies of micronucleated and multinucleated cells in BALB/c 3T3 cells were significantly increased by all extracts,and a dose response relationship was observed.It indicated both extracts of beech wood dust and birch wood dust were mutagenic.
