The Application of Fix-effect and Mixed-effect Models to the Mesurement Error Estimation

  • To investigate on statistical methods for the assessment of exposure measurement erorr.Concentratoins of radon, radon daughters and dust in underground mines measured by the Labor Protection Institute of Yunnan Tin Cooperation as an example,a fixedeffect model and a mixed-effect model were fitted to calculated the reliability coeffcients. All of the estimated reliability coefficients were close to 1,which showed that the data were under well controlled. It indicats that both fixed2effect and mixed-effct models could work as useful methods for the assessment of measurement error,if applying with caution.
